Maddie

Maddie, my Rottweiler, seems to have taken a turn for the worse.  She has been shivering and she hasn’t been walking around very well.  Her breathing is seems to be strained at times and it looks like she is trying to push something out.  She doesn’t want to eat and she doesn’t want to drink.  Her gums are pale and almost white.  She had some kind of seizure earlier, but now she is resting comfortably.

Maddie will be turning 13 in December, hopefully she will be around for that.  Tomorrow I will see if she will eat some red meat to get some iron into her.  That seemed to have worked before, but I really don’t know at this point.

She is my baby.  I will be lost without her.
